Job summary

Qualifications

• Current approved group exercise primary certification for taught format
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Responsibilities

• Coach pre-choreographed or freestyle group sessions for members at varying fitness levels
• Present sessions in a welcoming, encouraging and challenging manner
• Ensure safety and high-quality delivery with proper techniques and guidelines
• Increase member attendance through engaging instruction and motivation
• Maintain an average of coaching at least 2 classes per week
• Deliver exceptional customer service before and after sessions and handle member concerns
• Report equipment issues to club management and recruit new members to join classes
• Start and finish group sessions on time and maintain a clean, organized club environment
• Find substitutes for classes per policy and guidelines
• Maintain a strong social media presence to attract participants for classes and events
• Attend staff meetings as required
