Job summary

The Travel Division in Uniondale, USA, is expanding its Group Travel operations and seeks an experienced group travel operations expert to join our New York office. You will work alongside our Commercial Jet brokers to quote, book, and manage group travel for corporate clients, school groups, and events.

You will source opportunities, deliver outstanding service, and drive growth while coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless travel experiences for our customers.

Qualifications

• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Well versed in sales with a proven track record in travel.
• Excellent time management and ability to multitask.
• Able to work independently and with teams, in a goal-driven environment.
• Willingness to work outside regular hours when needed.
• Experience booking and managing group travel is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Set up access to the USA group travel market with major airlines to quote, book and manage requests.
• Identify gaps in operations and implement efficiency improvements.
• Source leads and engage with Large Group Private Aviation Clients to build repeat travel business.
• Recommend the most suitable group travel products for customers.
• Manage bookings from enquiry to completion and coordinate with other departments.
• Maintain a customer-first approach and service quality, including after-hours support when required.
• Build and maintain relationships with repeat clients through outbound calls, emails and visits.
• Engage with suppliers and partners to provide the best options for customers.
• Work toward exceeding daily, monthly and annual goals in productivity and finances.
• Follow company procedures to protect clients and the business.
• Work effectively in a pressurized environment and make timely decisions.
• Represent the business at events with suppliers, customers and industry peers.
• Over time, recruit and train new group travel consultants to support growth.
