Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Indianapolis, IN seeks a full-time Group Facilitator for our Detox and Residential treatment programs. You will lead group therapy, psychoeducation, and process groups, guiding clients to build coping skills and recovery tools.

The role requires an Indiana clinical license or CADAC I-V, LAC, LCAC, LMHC, or LMFT, plus at least one year in treatment. Strong interpersonal skills and sound judgement are essential. Join a growing team dedicated to evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Indiana clinical license or CADAC I-V, LAC, LCAC, LMHC, or LMFT is required.
• Minimum one year experience in treatment industry preferred.
• Valid licensure to practice in Indiana.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year sobriety is required.
• Excellent interpersonal, observational, and communication skills.
• Strong presence and sound judgement.
• Warm, dignified and honest character that inspires trust and models recovery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct group therapy, psychoeducation, and process groups to meet client needs.
• Assist clients in developing healthy coping skills and recovery tools.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to track client progress.
• Escalate significant concerns to Clinical Director.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all group sessions.
• Ensure all clinical assessments and charting are completed.
