Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in South Bend, IN is hiring Group Facilitators for our Detox and Residential facility. You will lead group therapy and psychoeducation, helping clients develop coping skills and recovery tools.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field, at least one year in the treatment industry, and state licensure. If in recovery, a minimum one-year sobriety is required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or related field preferred.
• Min. one year experience in treatment industry preferred.
• Valid licensure to practice as a clinician in Indiana.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year sober period is required.
• Excellent interpersonal, observational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct group therapy, psychoeducation, and process groups designed to meet clients' challenges and needs.
• Assist clients in developing healthy coping skills, positive behaviors, and recovery tools.
• Collaborate consistently with clinical staff to monitor client progress.
• Escalate significant client concerns to Clinical Director.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all group sessions conducted.
• Ensure all clinical assessments and individual client charting are completed.
