Job summary

Connections Wellness Group in Dallas-Fort Worth area offers virtual therapy and a PRN position for a Group Therapist I. You will facilitate psychoeducational and process groups, complete treatment plans, and engage with a multidisciplinary team to support clients on their path to recovery.

Requires a Master’s degree and an active clinical license, with experience in PHP/IOP settings. This is a PRN role with flexible hours and remote work from the Dallas area.

Job Salary: $32.00 per hour

Position Summary

Day‑to‑day job functions include facilitating psychoeducational groups and process groups, completing treatment plans and updates, and active engagement with a dynamic treatment team. This team member will also assist in the development and implementation of a holistic, evidence‑based curriculum that focuses on addressing patient symptoms and building necessary skills to assist our patients in connecting back to what matters most while establishing a clear path to long‑term wellness.

PRN Requirements

As a PRN employee with Connections Wellness Group, you must meet the following requirements to maintain your employment status:

• Ensure that your available time is updated on the PRN availability calendar.
• Cannot deny three (3) provided shifts within each quarter.
• Respond to coverage requests by leadership within 48 hours.
• Attend all mandatory training/in‑service to stay up‑to‑date on process and policy updates. If you are unable to attend, communicate with your primary supervisor to ensure you receive the information.

Qualifications

Education: Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or equivalent field.

License: Current unencumbered clinical license (LPC, LPC‑A, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LMFT‑A, LCDC) per state of practice guidelines.

Experience: Demonstrated experience supporting individuals with mental health and substance use disorders, including dual diagnosis populations. Proven background working across higher levels of care, including inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient (IOP) settings.

Additional Requirements

A thorough knowledge of and adherence to ethical guidelines as well as state and federal guidelines and compliance regulations (HIPAA, Mandated Reporting, etc.). Employees will also maintain adequate professional liability insurance.
