Job summary

Haverhill Pavilion Behavioral Health is seeking a Group Therapist to join our team in a full-time capacity. You will provide therapeutic treatment and counseling, guiding patients in skills to manage mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders, under licensed supervision.

Responsibilities include leading groups, documenting activities, and collaborating with treatment teams to promote recovery. Tuition reimbursement and comprehensive benefits are available to support your growth.

Qualifications

• Must hold OT, LMHC, LICSW, LCSW, COTA, or LADC 1 licensure.
• Experience in behavioral health settings is preferred.
• Strong documentation and group facilitation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with treatment teams and nursing staff.
• Commitment to patient care and recovery in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with nursing staff and treatment teams to promote patients' treatment and recovery.
• Document, develop and facilitate groups, and assist with patient activities under supervision.
• Formulate short-term goals and interventions based on assessments and established goals.
• Work with the treatment team to provide individual interventions for patients with mental illness and/or substance use.
• Report and document changes observed in patients' condition, mood, or behavior.
