Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a psychotherapist to provide group and individual therapy on inpatient, residential, and partial hospital programs. You will help facilitate groups focused on education, social interaction, and community-building, collaborating with the unit's Inpatient Group Coordinator.

The role requires a Master's degree and licensure, 1–2 years of therapy experience, and comfort with electronic records (Epic). 20 hours weekly, onsite at 1 Dove Avenue.

Qualifications

• Group and individual therapy experience 1-2 years required.
• Licenses in social work or related mental health field required/licensed as applicable.
• Experience with empirically supported group therapies preferred (CBT/DBT/MI).

Responsibilities

• Provides group and/or individual therapy to clients as assigned.
• Supports assessment and development of the group therapy program on the unit.
• Maintains a non-judgmental environment for client processing.
• Documents inpatient group forms within established time parameters.
• Provides consultation to clinical teams based on expertise.
• Alerts staff to emergent clinical issues during group sessions.
• Contributes to Group Resources Manual with goals, methods, and resources.
• Follows established group therapy protocols.
• Participates in rounds, meetings, and treatment planning as needed.
