Asteroid Health Inc. seeks an Evening Group Facilitator specializing in Mental Health to join our clinical team in Newton, MA.

You will lead group therapy sessions and provide individual support to diverse clients, including children, adolescents, and adults, during evening hours. You will document promptly, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and maintain strict confidentiality while applying a range of psychotherapeutic approaches to foster recovery and coping skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related field; license preferred but not required.
• Experience facilitating behavioral health groups; minimum 2 years.
• ASAM and DSM knowledge.
• Demonstrated computer and communication proficiency.

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Evening Group Facilitator specializing in Mental Health to join our dedicated clinical team. In this role, you will provide engaging group therapy sessions and individual support to clients experiencing a range of mental health challenges. Your expertise will help foster a safe, supportive environment where clients can work toward their recovery goals, develop coping skills, and improve overall well-being. Responsibilities

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective workplace and client interaction.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Qualifications

• Background in psychology, social work, counseling/ related field (bachelor’s degree at minimal). License in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or substance use (i.e. LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, and/or similar licensure) license preferred but not required.
• Experience facilitating behavioral health groups.
• 2 years experience at minimum required in the field.
• ASAM and DSM experience and knowledge.
• Demonstrated computer and communication proficiency.
