Back Bay Mental Health - Mental Health Outpatient in Boston, right off of the Green Line next to Boston University.
You will have a designated free parking space if you commute by car!
Our mental health outpatient day program runs from 9a to 5p and the evening program runs from 6p-9p.
Must be willing to carry a case load of around 12 clients, run 2-4 groups a week and maybe an evening group on occasion.
Specific Responsibilities
Provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, as well as education and skills training.
Complete intake of new clients immediately upon admission.
Obtain history and presenting information as delineated in program policy.
Createindividualized treatment plans with clients
Updates referring sources and family members on patient progress
Utilize therapeutic interventions and rapport-building practices, including motivational interviewing techniques
Document treatment episodes, contacts, treatment plans and sessions according to payor and company policies and procedures
Coordinates comprehensive discharge plan to ensure seamless community reintegration.

Minimum Qualifications
A Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health, Addictions, Psychology or related field is preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Mental Health, Addictions, Psychology or related field is preferred.
LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LPC, LADC preferred
At least 2years of experience in a behavioral healthcare or substance abuse settings serving culturally diverse populations.
