Job summary

Connections Wellness Group in Flower Mound, TX is seeking a Group Therapist I to provide PRN coverage, facilitating psychoeducational and process groups and collaborating with a dynamic treatment team.

The role requires a Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a related field, and a current unencumbered clinical license. Prior experience across PHP/IOP and higher levels of care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or equivalent field.
• License: Current unencumbered clinical license (LPC, LPC-A, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LMFT-A, LCDC) per state of practice guidelines.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience supporting individuals with mental health and substance use disorders, including dual diagnosis populations. Proven background working across higher levels of care, including inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient (IOP) settings.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day job functions include facilitating psychoeducational groups and process groups, completing treatment plans and updates, and active engagement with a dynamic treatment team.
• Assist in the development and implementation of a holistic, evidence-based curriculum that focuses on addressing patient symptoms and building skills for long-term wellness.
