Connections Wellness Group in McKinney, TX is seeking a Group Therapist I to provide evidence-based group therapy in a PRN capacity. The role focuses on psychoeducational and process groups, with treatment planning and collaboration within a dynamic treatment team.

Candidates will hold a Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or equivalent and a current unencumbered clinical license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, etc.).

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or equivalent field.
• Current unencumbered clinical license (LPC, LPC-A, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LMFT-A, LCDC) per state of practice guidelines.
• Demonstrated experience supporting individuals with mental health and substance use disorders, including dual diagnosis populations.
• Experience across higher levels of care including inpatient, residential, PHP, and IOP settings.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate psychoeducational and process groups.
• Complete treatment plans and updates.
• Engage with a dynamic treatment team.
• Contribute to curriculum development and implementation for holistic, evidence-based care.
