Job summary

Connections Wellness Group in Rockwall, TX, is seeking a Group Therapist I for PRN coverage. You will facilitate psychoeducational and process groups, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with a dynamic treatment team to support client wellness.

The role requires a Master’s in social work or a related field, an active clinical license (LPC/LCSW/LMFT, etc.), and experience with mental health and substance use care across PHP/IOP levels.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or equivalent field.
• Current unencumbered clinical license (LPC, LPC-A, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LMFT-A, LCDC) per state of practice guidelines.
• Demonstrated experience supporting individuals with mental health and substance use disorders, including dual diagnosis populations, and experience across higher levels of care (inpatient, residential, PHP, IOP).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate psychoeducational groups and process groups.
• Complete treatment plans and updates.
• Engage with a dynamic treatment team and contribute to curriculum development for holistic, evidence-based care.
