Job summary

ISNetworld in Dallas, TX seeks a Group Supervisor – Product Design to lead multiple projects and supervise a design team. You will drive UI/UX improvements, promote enterprise design standards, and oversee a design system rollout.

Expect hands-on design work combined with people leadership to meet product goals. The role requires 9+ years in product design, 2+ years in supervising designers, strong portfolio, and proficiency in Figma.

Responsibilities

• Design compelling customer experiences for ISN products as hands-on lead designer.
• Split time between project work and supervising the team.
• Lead UI/UX simplification and improvements across ISN products.
• Develop and evolve enterprise design standards and the design system.
• Identify and implement new technologies, AI-driven improvements to optimize workflows.
• Coach and mentor the Product Design team to deliver high-quality results.
• Document design guidelines and share knowledge on components and patterns.

Job description

The Position: The Group Supervisor – Product Design position manages multiple projects while supervising a team and ensuring the productivity and performance of the team. The role requires leadership and coaching skills as well as acute attention to detail to drive performance in alignment with company goals.

Who should apply?

• 2+ years’ experience in supervising product designers
• A user-centered approach to problem solving that leverages research, analytics, empathy, strong designintuition, best practices, and accessible design

• Familiarity with AI-enabled design, prototyping, and development tools and workflows

Responsibilities:

• Design compelling customer experiences for ISN products as a hands-on lead designer, splitting your time between project work and supervising the team
• Lead initiatives to simplify the User Interface (UI) and improve the User Experience (UX) across assigned ISN products
• Lead the development, implementation, and evolution of enterprise design standards and best practices, including ISN's design system, continually updating and improving its components and patterns
• Identify, recommend, and implement new technologies, tools, and AI-powered improvements that optimize design workflows and boost team efficiency and output
• Lead, coach, and mentor the Product Design team, providing design direction that ensures high-quality deliverables are completed on time and to requirements
• Document design guidelines and actively share knowledge on how to utilize components and patterns

Onsite Requirements:

• Employees must be within a commutable distance to the Dallas, TX office. Relocation is required for candidates not already local to the DFW area.
• In-person attendance is required at minimum 2 days per week during the first 90 days of employment.
• After 90-day review, in-person attendance is required at minimum 1 day per month and required for certain meetings and tasks (collaboration with stakeholders and customers, team collaboration day, ISN events, team events, performance reviews, etc.).
