Job summary

Wonderspring, a nonprofit early childhood education organization, is seeking a Group Supervisor for our Colonial School-age team. You will assist with leading the day-to-day operations of the school-age programs throughout the school year and summer.

The role involves coordinating lesson plans, communicating with families about children's growth, collaborating with school district personnel, mentoring staff, and managing family intake and enrollment processes.

Qualifications

• AA in Education is required; BA/BS in Education preferred.
• Two years of experience working with children.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills reflecting strong customer service and the ability to interact effectively with parents/guardians and school district personnel.
• Must obtain all required clearances and complete a Health Assessment with TB screening prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implementation of lesson plans based on developmentally appropriate practices.
• Ensure effective communication with families regarding children's developmental growth through observations, anecdotal reports, and conferences.
• Collaborate with school district personnel to include principals, teachers, administrative and custodial staff as complimentary supports to programming.
• Working with the Site Supervisor and Center Director to orient, supervise and mentor staff by providing necessary tools, information, and support to ensure success.
• Facilitate family intake and enrollment process.

Pay: $21.00 per hour
