Job summary

Pebble Beach Company seeks a Preferred Manager to drive occupancy and revenue for Pebble Beach Preferred groups. You will handle group bookings, coordinate golf and catering, and ensure exceptional service for up to 20 rooms per night.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years hotel/resort experience, strong organization, and proficiency in AMADEUS and SMS. This role offers a path within Sales under the Director of Sales, with comprehensive employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years hotel/resort experience, preferably in Reservations/Sales.
• Extremely service oriented with attention to detail.
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
• Thoroughly follow directions, prioritize, organize, and follow-up.
• Clear thinker, calm under pressure; use good judgement.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in AMADEUS and SMS.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Solicit, develop, and maintain relationships with clients through targeted prospecting activity.
• Respond to and follow up on inquiries within 24 hours.
• Conduct site inspections for potential clients.
• Coordinate bookings for groups up to 20 rooms per night (rooms, golf, catering, transportation, dining, activities).
• Maintain client files: contracts, group rooming lists, deposits, itineraries, and billing.
• Prepare group reservation documents and communicate expectations to staff.
• Enter group bookings in hotel reservation (SMS) and Sales/Conference Services (Delphi).
• Stay updated on company changes and processes affecting customers.
• Complete duties assigned by Director of Sales.
• Comply with Pebble Beach Company safety policies.
