Job summary

Nelnet is seeking a Group Product Manager for NextGen to own one or more SaaS solutions end-to-end, guiding discovery, writing requirements, and shipping with engineering and design partners. You will lead and grow a small PM team, shape a cohesive strategy across NextGen portfolios, and drive outcomes for campuses, administrators, and students.

This role emphasizes AI-enabled product opportunities and cross-functional leadership, with a remote-friendly posture.

Qualifications

6+ years of product management experience with a strong track record of shipping products.
1+ year mentoring or directly managing other Product Managers.
Experience partnering with go-to-market teams to launch complex SaaS or platform products.
Track record of shipping AI-enabled or data-driven software products with measurable business impact.
Proven ability to align and influence stakeholders across engineering, design, and commercial functions.

Responsibilities

Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap across the NextGen portfolio.
Lead a small team of Product Managers and grow their craft.
Partner with cross-functional teams to plan launches and ensure market readiness.
Define success metrics and drive outcomes across adoption, retention, and satisfaction.
Identify opportunities to connect solutions and build AI-enabled experiences.
