Job summary

Nachi America Inc. in Greenwood, Indiana is seeking a Group Manager, Warehouse & Facilities to lead our warehouse operations and facilities management functions.

You will drive operational excellence, develop long-term strategies, improve inventory accuracy, and scale performance to support growth. You will mentor warehouse and facilities leadership, manage budgets and vendor relationships, and champion safety and continuous improvement across the site.

Nachi America Inc. is seeking an experienced Group Manager, Warehouse & Facilities to lead our warehouse operations and facilities management functions in Greenwood, Indiana.

This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, developing long-term strategies, improving inventory accuracy, enhancing warehouse performance, and ensuring our facilities support continued business growth. We are seeking a forward-thinking leader who can evaluate current processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement initiatives that increase efficiency, scalability, and overall operational performance.

What You'll Do

Operations & Continuous Improvement

• Lead all warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, material handling, order fulfillment, and distribution.
• Develop and execute operational strategies that align with company objectives and future growth plans.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to improve productivity, efficiency, inventory accuracy, and service levels.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization efforts, and operational best practices.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, workflow improvements, automation, and increased scalability.
• Analyze operational data and implement corrective actions to achieve business goals.

Inventory Management

• Partner closely with the Accounting team on physical inventory counts, inventory audits, and discrepancy investigations.
• Develop and maintain inventory control processes that support operational and financial objectives.
• Ensure accurate inventory reporting and compliance with company standards.
• Oversee facility maintenance, building systems, infrastructure, and capital improvement projects.
• Ensure facilities remain safe, compliant, and operationally effective.
• Develop long-term facility strategies that support organizational growth and operational efficiency.
• Lead and develop warehouse and facilities leadership teams.
• Support hiring, coaching, succession planning, and employee development.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Manage departmental budgets and resource allocation.
• Oversee vendor and contractor relationships.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational performance while controlling costs.

Safety & Compliance

• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead risk management, emergency preparedness, and business continuity initiatives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of leadership experience in warehouse operations, distribution, logistics, inventory management, or related operational environments.

• Experience leading managers, supervisors, and cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and organizational change.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
