Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Sr. Distribution Manager to oversee safety, productivity, and quality in a multi-site distribution center. You will manage first-line supervisors and hundreds of hourly staff, ensuring on-time shipping for diverse customers.

This role focuses on Lean leadership and cross-functional coordination. You will drive continuous improvement, cost savings, and process design enhancements while aligning with senior leadership on safety and resource requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of distribution principles, lean tools, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of supervisors and managers across 3 facilities including inbound, picking, outbound, and cycle counting.
• Ensure on-time shipments, fill rate, and accuracy for a large customer base via truckload, LTL, and parcel.
• Develop and manage continuous improvement projects and coordinate cross-functional resources.
• Mentor leaders and associates in lean management tools and strategy deployment.

Ensures operations meets on-time shipping requirements for a large customer base via truckload, LTL and parcel shipments.
