Job summary

Milwaukee Tool seeks a Team Lead to guide the Paint, Print and Pack production line on the shop floor, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery. You will assign tasks, train staff, maintain logs, oversee changeovers and work with engineers to drive improvements.

You will uphold 5S principles, verify PPE compliance, and partner with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and optimize output in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in Paint, Print, Pack departments preferred.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong safety awareness and PPE compliance.
  • Knowledge of 5S and continuous improvement basics.
  • Proven ability to train staff and manage line paperwork.

Responsibilities

  • Assign personnel to workstations and monitor performance.
  • Train team members to meet production demands and safety rules.
  • Maintain and verify logs (reject, quality, scrap, stock).
  • Ensure PPE availability and PPE compliance for all staff.
  • Coordinate and lead team meetings and changeovers with other teams.
  • Support quality and process engineers on issues and improvements.
  • Uphold 5S practices and safe working environment.
