Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• CPA required
• 10+ years of progressive tax experience in a large, multinational environment
• Strong command of US federal and state corporate income tax concepts
• Experience communicating with senior Finance leadership and auditors
• People management experience with high-performing teams
• Technical mastery of federal and state income tax law
• Operational rigor in close processes
• Change leadership driving automation and tech transformation
• Cross-functional collaboration with Controllership, FP&A, and Legal
• Executive presence to translate complex tax matters for executives

Responsibilities

• Own federal and state income tax return filings and audits end to end
• Maximize automation of tax compliance using AI, Alteryx, Python, UiPath, Power BI
• Champion tax product offerings inside the compliance function
• Lead continuous improvement of control design and operating effectiveness
• Drive adoption of Intuit tax and accounting product suites
• Modernize tax return technology stacks and automation
• Lead process transformation for tax/book difference analysis
• Serve as control owner for SOX controls
• Build, mentor, and lead a team of tax professionals
• Set objectives, conduct performance reviews, and develop training
