Job summary

HR Green is seeking a Group Leader to join its Water & Wastewater Practice in Houston. You will lead strategic direction, client partnerships, and large infrastructure projects, shaping growth for the Texas practice while mentoring teams and ensuring project success.

You will manage budgets, schedules, and scope, drive business development with municipal and utility clients, and champion technical excellence, safety, and client satisfaction on every engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license with ability to licensure in additional states where HR Green operates.
• 10+ years of progressive water and wastewater consulting or related engineering experience.
• Significant experience leading and developing engineering teams and managing multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong experience in project financial management, budgets, profitability, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction and annual goals for the Water & Wastewater Practice in Texas.
• Lead large, complex water and wastewater projects from planning through design, construction, and closeout.
• Develop and maintain long-term municipal and utility client relationships to drive growth.
• Mentor staff and build high-performing teams while ensuring safety and quality standards.
