Job summary

Pape-Dawson Engineers is seeking a Practice Leader to oversee all aspects of water and wastewater projects in the Houston area. The role requires leading design and technical guidance, mentoring engineers, and driving strategic growth.

You will collaborate with senior project managers to ensure delivery on budget and schedule. The ideal candidate holds a PE in Texas with 15+ years of experience managing substantial projects, strong client relations, and a track record in water/wastewater

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural or civil engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university.
• Pro Engineer (P.E.) designation in the State of Texas.
• Proven leadership and project management experience on large water/wastewater projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on the design and technical aspects of water/wastewater projects.
• Prepare proposals and client agreements.
• Monitor budgets and schedules with PMs and senior PMs.
• Oversee technical and professional development of project teams.
• Develop and maintain client relationships with agencies and communities.
• Represent the company in professional associations.
