Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Portage, MI, is seeking a full-time laboratory professional with a bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or related field and at least 4 years of lab experience to coordinate workflows, lead investigations, and drive continuous improvement. The role involves supervising others, conducting reviews, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or related degree concentration and at least 4 years of laboratory experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workflow and perform daily monitoring to meet TAT.
• Conduct semi-annual performance reviews, interview applicants, keep training records up to date for assigned employees, evaluate succession plans in preparation for growth.
• Perform work for both routine and non-routine work as specified by separate and applicable technical job description for individual.
• Coach, train, and develop others within the group with respect to their personal development and effective implementation of operational improvements.
• Troubleshoot and solve both instrumental and method issues.
• Lead and write investigations independently, establish root cause and robust CAPA.
• Support and drive LEAN initiatives and operational improvements.
• Perform all functions in support of and in compliance with all state and federal employment regulations.
