Job summary

The Guild of St. Agnes in Gardner, MA is seeking an experienced School Age Group Leader for year-round work, 1:30-5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

You will help supervise children aged 5-12, assist in planning developmentally appropriate activities, and contribute to a safe, engaging environment. Applicants should have prior experience with school-age children in supervised settings and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

We are currently seeking a experienced School Age Group Leader at our Gardner location year round. This individual will assist with classroom activities, supervise children, and help create a fun and safe environment for our school-age children. This candidate will have prior experience working with children ages 5-12 years in a supervised work setting and have obtained their high school diploma or equivalent.

M-F 1:30-5:30 pm

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the safety and well-being of the children at all times, being alert for their needs as individuals and as a group
• Know and maintain child/teacher ratios in compliance with EEC regulations
• Assist in planning developmentally appropriate curriculum
• Maintaining clear, effective and positive communication with children, families, and staff
