The Opportunity

Our team in Austin, TX is seeking a Group Lead, Strategic Pricing & Contract Analyst to support the Structural Heart (SH) Business Unit. The role involves leading a team responsible for review, financial analysis, and administration of sales requests, contracts, and pricing adjustments across all account types for Abbott Structural Heart deals. The leader will oversee projects, identify opportunities, manage team activities, and develop team members.

What You’ll Work On
  • Lead training processes and update documentation for staff and field sales training.
  • Manage contract template development and updates to policies and procedures involving leadership, legal, OEC, and finance.
  • Research, analyze, and interpret data to produce recommendations in a high-pressure sales environment.
  • Coordinate workflows among departments including Finance, Legal, Customer Service, and Marketing.
  • Foster creative problem solving and team collaboration.
  • Oversee financial analysis and contracting of Purchasing Agreements.
  • Lead planning calls with Regional Sales Directors and VPs to prepare RFP responses, align on pricing strategies, and review strategies for Price Council.
  • Facilitate complex deal formatting and senior leadership meetings.
  • Ensure attention to detail while considering broader contract impacts.
  • Lead projects, define and justify project initiatives, and manage project teams using good project management practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to facilitate contract readiness for new product launches.
  • Own the creation of contracts from start to finish, including defining pricing needs, analyzing financial impact, and finalizing outbound contracts.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience with strong understanding of the functional area.

Compensation

The base pay for this position is $97,300.00 – $194,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
