Job summary

Scotts Miracle-Gro is hiring for an hourly role in Ohio. You will help obtain shipping schedules, coordinate with distribution and packaging teams, and ensure inventory accuracy within the distribution center.

SAP is used to monitor inventory and make adjustments as needed. The position offers weekly pay and benefits, with the company noting the starting rate of $26.05 per hour and consideration of location and experience in pay decisions.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and review customer shipping schedule and adjust shifts as needed
• Direct distribution associates to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance
• Coordinate with packaging to ensure product quality and 100% packaging uptime in DC
• Monitor inventory quality and adjust in SAP as required
• Troubleshoot issues and assist associates; liaise with Shift Supervisor and other warehouse teams
• Monitor SAP data and work with Warehouse Team to make adjustments
• Report inbound material shortages or discrepancies to stakeholders
• Prepare paperwork for orders, picking tickets, master BOL, and vendor returns
• Train associates in surge and loading procedures and customer-specific requirements

This hourly role follows the Scotts step pay progression scale and typically starts at $26.05 per hour and is paid weekly. Scotts will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.

In this role you will:

• Ensure the customer shipping schedule is obtained and review the following shifts and lend help as needed.
• Direct our distribution associates to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance.
• Work with the packaging department to produce great product quality as well as ensure 100% packaging uptime associated with the distribution center.
• Utilize SAP to monitor inventory and quality; make adjustments when required.
• Troubleshoots problems and helps Associates when issues arise and acts as a liaison with the Shift Supervisor and other warehouse teams.
• Monitor's data within SAP and works with the Warehouse Team to make adjustments.
• Reports any inbound material shortages or discrepancies to all internal stakeholders.
• Prepares all necessary paperwork as it relates to creating orders, picking tickets, master BOL, supply and demand reports and return to vendor orders.
• Train and develop associates in surge and loading procedures as well as customer specific requirements.
