Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods, Inc. is opening a new Distribution Center in Fort Worth and hiring for a Group Lead in the Loading department.

This full-time role on 2nd shift runs Monday through Thursday from 4:00 pm to 2:30 am, with a $21.60 hourly wage plus a $1.00 shift differential. Responsibilities include coordinating activities for a team, training associates, monitoring performance, and ensuring safety and efficiency while maintaining records and supporting the supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in distribution center/retail preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Familiarity with WMS-Manhattan and PMMS.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities to maximize productivity under supervision.
• Train new associates on procedures and duties; retrain as needed.
• Monitor performance and correct errors; ensure safety standards.
• Review reports and coordinate paperwork; maintain clean, safe work area.
• Other duties as assigned.

DICK'S SPORTING GOODS is excited to open our BRAND NEW Distribution Center right here in Fort Worth! We are NOW HIRING for a Group Lead position in our Loading department . Shift Available:

This is a Full-Time opportunity on 2nd shift | Monday - Thursday 4:00pm to 2:30am

$21.60 + $1.00 shift differential for working on 2nd shift!

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• - Coordinates activities as directed by the Supervisor of a group of associates in a designated area in order to maximize productivity
• - Trains new associates on department procedures & job duties. Retrain associates on methods & procedures
• - Monitors associates, identifies errors & corrects as needed
• - Maintains accurate & efficient department operating procedures. Maintains adherence to safety & processing standards
• - Reports all discrepancies to Supervisor in a timely manner. Communicates with other department supervisors, leads & own team members
• - Handles & responds to minor issues dealing with process & operational procedures
• - Resolves operational problems
• - Reads, understands & interprets report. Coordinates paperwork
• - Maintains a safe & clean work environment. Performs all functions of the department to accomplish tasks
• - Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• - High School Diploma or equivalent
• - Experience in distribution center/retail
• - Candidates must be at least 18 years of age
• - WMS-Manhattan & PMMS
• - Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• - Basic English reading comprehension & numerical reasoning skills.
