Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is hiring for a Group Lead in the Loading department at our new Fort Worth Distribution Center. This full-time role operates on 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 4:00pm–2:30am) with a $21.60 base hourly rate plus a $1.00 shift differential.

The ideal candidate will coordinate activities, train staff, monitor performance, and uphold safety and quality standards while maintaining efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Distribution center/retail experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with WMS Manhattan & PMMS.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
• Basic English reading comprehension & numerical reasoning skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates activities to maximize productivity under the Supervisor of a group of associates.
• Trains new associates on department procedures and duties; retrain as needed.
• Monitors associates, identifies errors and corrects as needed.
• Maintains safe and efficient department procedures and safety standards.
• Reports discrepancies to Supervisor and coordinates with other leads.
• Coordinates paperwork and maintains a clean work environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Shift Available:

This is a Full-Time opportunity on 2nd shift | Monday - Thursday 4:00pm to 2:30am

$21.60 + $1.00 shift differential for working on 2nd shift!

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinates activities as directed by the Supervisor of a group of associates in a designated area in order to maximize productivity
• Trains new associates on department procedures & job duties. Retrain associates on methods & procedures
• Monitors associates, identifies errors & corrects as needed
• Maintains accurate & efficient department operating procedures. Maintains adherence to safety & processing standards
• Reports all discrepancies to Supervisor in a timely manner. Communicates with other department supervisors, leads & own team members
• Handles & responds to minor issues dealing with process & operational proceduresResolves operational problems
• Reads, understands & interprets report. Coordinates paperwork
• Maintains a safe & clean work environment. Performs all functions of the department to accomplish tasks
• Other duties as assigned
