The role oversees a group of associates, coordinating activities to maximize productivity, and ensuring safety and efficiency in processing standards. Training, monitoring, and communication with leaders are key aspects of the job.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in distribution center/retail.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
• Proficiency with WMS-Manhattan & PMMS.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates activities to maximize productivity.
• Trains new associates on procedures and duties.
• Monitors performance and corrects errors.
• Maintains safe, accurate department procedures.
• Communicates with supervisors and team members.
• Resolves operational problems and reports discrepancies.

OVERVIEW:

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a full-time 1st shift Vendor Relations Group Leader to join our distribution center team in Fort Worth. Hourly rate: $ 21.60

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinates activities as directed by the Supervisor of a group of associates in a designated area in order to maximize productivity
• Trains new associates on department procedures & job duties. Retrain associates on methods & procedures
• Monitors associates, identifies errors & corrects as needed
• Maintains accurate & efficient department operating procedures. Maintains adherence to safety & processing standards
• Reports all discrepancies to Supervisor in a timely manner. Communicates with other department supervisors, leads & own team members
• Handles & responds to minor issues dealing with process & operational procedures
• Resolves operational problems
• Reads, understands & interprets report. Coordinates paperwork
• Maintains a safe & clean work environment. Performs all functions of the department to accomplish tasks
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in distribution center/retail
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age
• WMS-Manhattan & PMMS
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Basic English reading comprehension & numerical reasoning skills.
