Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a full-time Quality Control Associate for our Distribution Center in Fort Worth, TX. This 2nd shift role runs Monday–Thursday from 4:00pm to 2:30am, with an hourly rate of $18.60 plus a $1.00 shift premium.

Responsibilities include audits across receiving, shipping and inventory, ensuring accuracy and compliance within processing and support areas. Candidates must meet physical requirements and be proficient with WMS/PMMS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
• Willing to be certified on equipment at location.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, push, pull and lift cartons/bins up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Must report errors to supervisor with clear communication.
• Proficient in WMS and PMMS.

Responsibilities

• Verifies that MHE label application meets standards.
• Audits outbound processing totes for accuracy.
• Completes carton audits during shipping for correct pallet placement and store location.
• Performs trailer audits.
• Audits OSO packets and back stock locations for correct paperwork and product location.
• Audits store-to-store transfers and vendor compliance issues.
• Other audits and duties as assigned.

Overview

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a full-time Quality Control Associate to join our distribution center team in Fort Worth, TX for 2nd Shift.

2nd: Monday - Thursday 4:00pm to 2:30am

Hourly Rate: $18.60/hr

• 2nd shift $1.00 extra/hr

Quality Control Associate Teammates at the DICK’S Sporting Goods Distribution Center conducts audits in order to ensure accuracy & compliance throughout the processing & support areas of the distribution center. They are responsible for chargebacks and capturing vendor errors.

Responsibilities Include

• Verifies that MHE label application is correct to standards
• Audits outbound processing totes for accuracy
• Completes carton audits at shipping to identify correct pallet placement & store location
• Complete trailer audits
• Audit OSO packets to ensure correct paperwork is being provided to Receiving. Audit back stock locations to ensure correct product is in location. Audit store to store transfers to ensure correct product is being transferred
• Search building for vendor compliance issues
• Other audits & duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age
• Willing to be certified on equipment, based on location
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, push, pull & lift cartons/bins weighing up to 50 lbs. repetitively
• Must feel comfortable reporting errors to department Supervisor (interact & defend position)
• Proficient in WMS, PMMS
