Job summary

Abound Health is hiring compassionate Group Home Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Mercer County group homes in West Middlesex and Sharpsville, PA. Full-Time and Part-Time openings pay $18.00-$23.00 per hour.

As a DSP you will help individuals live safely and with dignity, participate in activities, and document progress. A valid driver’s license, HS diploma, and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in supporting individuals with I/DD.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly.
• Valid driver’s license and active car insurance.
• Comfortable with personal-care and behavioral-support needs.
• At least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Support behavioral, social, and daily living skill development.
• Assist with recreational and community activities.
• Follow treatment plans and document progress.
• Provide companionship and supervision.
• Submit documentation and payroll on time.
• Participate in ongoing training.
• Assist with personal care needs as required.
• Work independently and as part of a team in group homes.
