True Care Services in Wasilla/Palmer, Alaska is hiring for a Group Home Provider (GHP). You will deliver direct care to adults with developmental disabilities in a residential setting, helping with daily living activities and implementing health, safety, and wellness plans.

The role emphasizes compassionate, person-centered support, teamwork, and reliable transportation. Full-time, 24-hour shifts, 4 on/3 off, with competitive daily pay and paid training.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with activities of daily living, including personal care, hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Administer medications according to state regulations and company policies (training provided if needed).
• Support individuals in achieving their individualized goals.
• Transport clients to appointments, community activities, shopping, and recreational outings.
• Complete daily documentation and progress notes accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment.
• Assist with grocery shopping, meal planning, and household chores.
• Respond appropriately during medical or behavioral emergencies.
• Communicate professionally with guardians, case managers, healthcare providers, and the True Care Services team.
• Treat every individual with dignity, respect, and compassion.
