Job summary

All Ways Caring HomeCare in Wasilla, AK, is hiring Direct Support Professionals for the Wasilla Group Home on an on-call basis. You will deliver compassionate, individualized hands-on care and help residents maintain dignity and independence.

No experience is required; orientation and paid training are provided. You’ll work with a team to ensure safety, build relationships, and support daily living activities, with opportunities for tuition reimbursement and career growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in a group home, home‑like setting.
• Ability to communicate (verbally and written) with all levels of personnel, internal and external.
• No prior experience required; orientation and paid training provided.
• Responsible, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Willing to learn medical equipment use and follow care protocols.

What you will need:

• No prior experience necessary (orientation and paid training provided)
• Responsible, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality
• Emotionally intelligent with ahigh level of empathy and professionalism
• Willing to learn medical equipment use and follow care protocols
• Able to work assigned shifts with consistency and integrity
• Successful pass company and state required pre-employment background checks
• Availability to work weekends and holidays (as needed)

Salary Range

USD $22.25 - $23.25 / Hour
