Job summary

All Ways Caring HomeCare is seeking an On Call Assisted Living Caregiver for our group homes in Alaska, including Wasilla, Big Lake, Palmer, and Houston. You will provide hands-on personal care, monitor health, and support residents in daily activities.

This on-call position offers consistent shift opportunities, weekend availability, and competitive pay with options for daily pay. No prior experience is required; training is provided to ensure quality, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; orientation and paid training provided.
• Must be reliable, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent empathy, professionalism, and willingness to learn medical equipment and care protocols.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care tasks including feeding, ambulation, and monitoring.
• Foster positive relationships between individuals served and housemates.
• Maintain client safety and a safe environment.
• Encourage self-help activities and independence.
• Accompany clients to scheduled appointments.
