Mat-Su Services for Children & Adults seeks a Group Home Direct Support Provider to oversee daily operations, support residents with daily living activities, and promote independence. You will ensure safety, maintain records, and collaborate with families and guardians in a 24-hour residential setting.

The role requires high school diploma, experience with disabilities preferred, and ability to lift 50 pounds. Alaska driver’s license and CPR/First Aid readiness are expected.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience assisting individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and online databases.
• Strong documentation and communication skills required.
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
• Valid Alaska driver’s license with two years driving experience.

Aufgaben

• Oversee daily operations of the group home to ensure a supportive, nurturing environment.
• Assist residents with hygiene, grooming, meals, and mobility.
• Support participation in community activities and employment programs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services, incidents, and progress notes.
• Communicate effectively with families, guardians, and case managers.
• Follow individual service plans and ensure safety and confidentiality.
