Job summary

Advocates is seeking an Assistant Program Manager to assist the Program Manager with supervisory duties in a group home setting. You will help deliver caregiver services and support adults with developmental disabilities to live independently.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED plus two years of related experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication; good judgment.
• Valid driver’s license and access to insured vehicle.
• Experience serving culturally diverse populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure individuals receive respectful, dignity-based care.
• Assist supervision of staff and promote self-advocacy and person-centered goals.
• Develop community-centered opportunities for individuals.
• Schedule and attend medical, dental, psychiatric, and other appointments as needed.
• Complete progress notes and required documentation.
• Monitor staff scheduling for economy and coverage.
• Audit financial records and assist with monthly reports.
• Ensure accuracy of medication administration per MAP procedures.
• Lead and attend staff meetings as appropriate.
