Job summary

Advocates, a nonprofit organization, seeks an Assistant Program Manager to support the Program Manager in a group home setting. The role ensures smooth operation of caregiver services for adults with developmental disabilities, while guiding Direct Support staff to deliver dignified, person-centered care.

Starting rate is $20.25-$21.50 per hour with a Tuesday-Saturday 3pm-11pm schedule. High School Diploma/GED required and at least two years of related experience; valid driver 2s license and

Qualifications

• Effective communication, verbal and written.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must hold a valid driver2s license with access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Ensure individuals are treated with dignity and respect.
• Assist supervision of staff and promote self-advocacy and person-centered goals.
• Develop community-centered opportunities for individuals.
• Schedule and attend medical, dental, psychiatric appointments and other needed visits.
• Complete progress notes and documentation as required.
• Monitor staff scheduling for economy and coverage.
• Audit financial records and help with monthly reports.
• Ensure accurate medication administration following MAP procedures.
• Lead and attend staff meetings.
