Benchmark Human Services in Manchester, NH seeks a Team Lead to support individuals' services, safety, and pursuit of their personal goals. The Team Lead will perform DSP functions and assist the Residential Manager to ensure quality of services and health and safety of individuals served.

Benchmark emphasizes ongoing staff development, mentorship, and documentation accuracy, with responsibilities spanning training, scheduling, and coordination of care.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License is required with access to a vehicle.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with DSP training, support, and supervision.
• Support program and house orientation functions.
• Support staff training and mentorship during shadowing.
• Provide ongoing coaching and role modeling for staff.
• Assist in staffing schedule development per Plan of Care.
• Help manage program and individual documentation and records.
• Support medication and healthcare coordination functions.
• Assist with budgeting or financial tasks as needed.
• Ensure the individual's home is safe, clean and well-maintained.
• Manage meal planning, diet monitoring, and shopping.
• Lead monthly safety drills and crisis response as needed.

The Team Lead will perform all the functions of a DSP and assists the Residential Manager in ensuring quality of services provided, health and safety of the individuals served, and DSP training, support, and supervision.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Assist with DSP training, support, and supervision.
• Support of program and house specific orientation functions
• Support of staff training
• Mentorship of new staff during shadowing period
• Ongoing coaching and role modeling for staff
• Support of staff meetings
• Help develop and manage staffing schedule in accordance with Plan of Care.
• Assist with management of program and individual documentation as required
• Completion, collection, review, submission, and/or tracking of documentation
• Assist with individual medication and healthcare coordination functions
• Assist in finances
• Responsible for ensuring that the individual's home is safe, clean and in good repair.
• Monitor proper diet, meal planning and shopping
• Ensure that monthly safety drills are conducted
• Assisting in crisis situations
• Must report any suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation immediately to supervisor or department head.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
• Access to a vehicle in good operating order + proof of auto insurance
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
