Job summary

Hands of Heartland seeks a Residential Coordinator to oversee multiple group homes and supervise Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). The role includes hiring, training, scheduling staff, implementing program plans, and coordinating activities aligned with Individual Support Plans (ISPs).

Qualifications

• Two years of experience with people with developmental disabilities preferred.
• One year supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass registry and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct operations of multiple group homes.
• Hire, train, and schedule staff to ensure services meet ISP goals.
• Implement program plans and coordinate appointments and activities for individuals supported.
• Maintain accurate documentation including ISP data, plan data, and logs.
• Safeguard individuals' funds and assist with purchases.
• Hire, coach, and evaluate team members; mentor staff.
• Ensure timecards are completed and approved in a timely manner.
• Support community integration by accompanying individuals to activities.
• Respond to aggressive or inappropriate behavior with approved behavior plans.
