Job summary

Jewish Family & Children's Service seeks a Residential Manager for a DDS-funded group home in Brighton, MA. You will supervise staff, coordinate daily operations, ensure resident care and safety, and collaborate with families and DDS.

This on-site role offers a strong benefits package and on-call rotation. Requires 1+ year in ID/DD settings or 5+ years of related experience, a related BA, supervisory skills, and ability to work independently within a team.

Qualifications

• Experience with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities is required.
• Bachelor's degree or at least five years of experience in a related field.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Flexibility in schedule and ability to react to changing needs.
• Ability to make safe, consistent clinical decisions in crises and non-crises.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to plan, organize and evaluate residents' goals and staffing patterns.
• Pass First Aid/CPR/MAP trainings within 90 days.
• Valid driver's license and insured vehicle; mileage reimbursed.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train staff, including onboarding, monthly 1:1s, meetings and evaluations.
• Schedule staff, manage call-outs and relief coverage.
• Coordinate day-to-day operations including administrative, facility, financial and regulatory tasks.
• Coordinate client care, medical management, skill development, and recreational activities.
• Complete paperwork to meet DDS regulations for service planning and financial management.
