Berkshire Family And Individual Resources in North Adams, MA is seeking a House Manager to oversee daily operations of a group home for adults with developmental disabilities. You will train and supervise staff, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and a supportive living environment.
You will provide person-centered supports to help individuals live independently, maintain health, and participate in preferred activities locally. A valid driver’s license and background checks are required.

The House Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of a group home for adults with developmental disabilities. Responsible for training and supervising staff members. Ensure that the home is safe, clean, and comfortable at all times. Provide supports to individuals to help them live as independently as possible, maintain optimal health and are given sufficient opportunities to engage in their desired activities and interests at home and in the community.
Must maintain all certification needed in the program including CPR, First Aid, Safe Techniques to Avoid Restraint and Training (START), and BFAIR Human Rights Training. May need to attend workshops, seminars or BFAIR functions as needed for job development.
