Job summary

Easterseals Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated supervisor to lead direct care staff in our eight group homes. You will build relationships with resident families, develop individual program plans, and ensure safety and compliance while delivering hands-on care as needed.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, provide leadership, and work as part of a supportive team focused on compassionate, person-centered care in our community setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Background working with individuals with intellectual disabilities or related field preferred.
• Strengths: Strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional care to clients and leadership to direct care staff.
• Develop meaningful relationships with resident families through regular contact.
• Develop and implement individual program plans promoting independence and confidence.
• Perform administration duties including training and scheduling staff, reviewing financial statements, and ensuring safety compliance.
• Plan and participate in activities and community outings for clients.
• Supervise day-to-day operations in group homes and provide direct care as needed.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

• Provide exceptional care to all clients, and leadership/direction to direct care staff.
• Develop meaningful relationships with resident families through regular and positive contact.
• Develop and implement individual program plans for residents, promoting independence and confidence.
• Perform administration duties, including training and scheduling staff, reviewing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures regarding safety.
• Have fun planning and participating in our client's favorite activities and going on outings in the community!
• In this role, you will support our direct care staff by supervising the day-to-day operations within the group home and occasionally support our clients by providing direct care, including assisting with personal hygiene and hands‑on care If you are an understanding leader, team-oriented, and a positive, driven person, you will thrive with Easterseals Rehabilitation Center!
