Abound Health in Mercer County, PA is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support in our Residential Group Homes across Sharpsville and West Middlesex. Full-time and part-time shifts are available.

As a DSP, you assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support, with paid training, weekly pay, and opportunities to grow within a mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is not required – paid training and support provided.
• Must be 18 years or older and have a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.
• Lifting may be required depending on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment
• Communicate with Abound team members, families, and external parties as needed
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules
• Complete ongoing training and professional development
