Job summary

Vibrant SCL LLC is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide daily care and support in a group home setting in Iowa. The role emphasizes independence, community involvement, and a safe living environment in line with HCBS/SCL standards.

The DSP will assist with daily living tasks, administer medications after training, and contribute to residents' goals while ensuring health and safety. On-call duties are rotated among staff, with compensation for on-call time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to pass required background checks.
• CPR, First Aid, Med Admin trainings required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (personal care, meals, housekeeping).
• Administer medications after required training.
• Support individual goals and skill development.
• Provide supervision and health and safety oversight.
• Transport individuals to appointments and community activities.
• Complete daily documentation and incident reports.
• Follow Iowa HCBS/SCL regulations.
