Macomb Residential Opportunities, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our caring residential team. You will supervise staff, support client programs, and assist in daily site operations to help people live more independently.

Qualifications

• Minimum education level: high school diploma.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in residential care services.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear, concise manner.
• Ability to interact with peers in a positive and supportive manner.
• Ability to provide supervision and leadership to staff.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill the basic duties and responsibilities of DIRECT SUPPORT STAFF.
• Supervise and direct staff in their job performance and duties.
• Train and supervise staff in client programs and activities; assist in development and planning of site programs.
• Identify problems and communicate to manager.
• Attend planning meetings and in-service training for consumers.
• Maintain awareness of site policies and regulatory requirements; monitor compliance.
• Manage and supervise use of in-home funds and related reports.
