The position offers an hourly wage of $18.53/hr plus a full benefits package, paid training, a $500 sign-on bonus, paid time off, and opportunities for supervision and growth. Flexible scheduling and employee referral bonuses are also available.

Qualifications

• Minimum education level: high school diploma.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in residential care services.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear, concise manner.
• Ability to interact with peers in a positive and supportive manner.
• Ability to provide supervision and leadership to staff.
• Verification of health status relating to the job requirements.
• Three references deemed acceptable to the agency.
• Current and valid drivers license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill the basic duties and responsibilities of DIRECT SUPPORT STAFF.
• Supervise and direct staff in their job performance and duties.
• Train and supervise staff in client programs and activities.
• Identifies problems and communicates to the manager to ensure progress.
• Attend planning and in-service meetings pertaining to consumers.
• Maintain awareness of policies and procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Manage and supervise the use of in-home funds and reports.
