Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One or more years of experience teaching group exercise classes.
• Current national group exercise certification (ACE/ACSM/AFAA/NETA) maintained.
• CPR/AED certification current and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise YMCA group exercise classes.
• Set up and take down equipment and music for classes.
• Educate participants about proper form and the COACH APPROACH.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and class flow; log attendance as required.
