Job summary

XCAL Shooting Sports and Fitness in Ashburn, VA is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor to lead a variety of classes, promote XCAL programs, and support a welcoming fitness community.

You will educate participants on form, maintain studio space, and help ensure safety with CPR/AED certification. This role emphasizes customer service and active engagement with members to drive participation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Fitness experience is required.
• CPR/AED certification required.
• Group exercise certification from NASM, ACE or AFAA is required.

Responsibilities

• Develops positive relationships with class participants by teaching a variety of challenging and motivational group fitness classes.
• Educates class participants on correct form and alternative moves during the fitness routine.
• Attentively listens to members, answer questions, and engage in conversation before and after classes with the intention to build a fitness community.
• Cleans and organizes studio space after each Group Fitness class.
• Provides current music for each class that entertains and motivates while ensuring appropriate language.
• Promotes XCAL programs, products, and services while specifically encouraging participation for Group Fitness classes.
