Job summary

Houston Fitness Partners, a Planet Fitness franchisee, is hiring a Fitness Instructor to lead the PF PE@PF program and design workouts. You will boost class participation, ensure safety, and support member needs while maintaining a high-energy, guest-focused atmosphere.

Requirements include 18+, HS diploma or GED, CPR/AED and Nationally Certified Training Certificate. Expect flexible hours, on-site duties at multiple Houston locations, and eligibility for growth within the team.

Qualifications

• 6-12 months of fitness instruction experience preferred.
• Willing to become CPR/AED certified prior to employment and maintain certification.
• Must hold a Nationally Certified Training Certificate and maintain certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead Planet Fitness group fitness program PE@PF and design simple workouts.
• Attract new and existing members to join classes.
• Maintain a safe workout environment at all times.
• Evaluate abilities and create suitable training plans as needed.
• Monitor progress and adapt programs accordingly.
• Greet members and assist with check-in, sign-ups, and inquiries.
• Answer phones promptly and provide accurate information.
• Perform prospective member calls and tours to assess needs.
• Regularly clean and sanitize club and equipment during shifts.
• Work at any Planet Fitness location within the Houston Fitness Partners network.
