• Nationally recognized group exercise certification required (AFAA/ACE/ACSM/YMCA).
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification required (or willingness to obtain within 30 days).

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver safe, effective, and engaging group exercise classes.
• Provide clear instructions, demonstrations, and modifications for all fitness levels.
• Build strong relationships with class participants and create a welcoming environment.
• Ensure safety and proper form; monitor participants and respond to emergencies per YMCA protocols.
• Stay current with industry trends and participate in YMCA training.
